Well, it seems our High Street might be getting a bit more sunshine soon! A planning application has been submitted to fell a large pear tree at 98 High Street, as its roots are causing drain issues and it's casting quite a bit of shade. They're hoping to replace it with a new espalier pear tree on the west wall, so watch this space!
